We are currently recruiting for a Lead Retail Go to Market & Innovation Manager. permanent position with Blue Square, supporting and working closely with our client Samsung, offering a salary between £70K-£75K per annum with a great bonus.

The Role

This role is responsible for the successful delivery of all Go to Market and Retail project activity within MX Retail across the 3000 stores and contact centre estate. Reporting to the Head of Retail & Contact Centre Activation, the role is critical to ensuring the execution of all product launches and agreed Retail projects are executed on time, within budget and with excellence.

The Lead Retail Go to Market & Innovation Manager oversees the full GTM function with two direct reports; the Senior Retail GTM Manager and Senior Retail Project Manager.

You will be expected to work collaboratively across multiple functions to ensure the delivery of the business objectives and agreed strategies for Retail and contact centres.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide and drive clear direction and strategy for the Retail Go To Market and Projects function ensuring company vision and goals are at the heart of all activity
  • Annual strategy development - channel investment, furniture and product execution
  • Budget forecasting / presentation and management circa £8-10m pa
  • Presentation of action plans & strategies to key stakeholders for budget approval
  • Delivery of all MX product launches and Retail projects to forecasted budget and timeline
  • Build, maintain, develop & grow key relationships with critical agencies and marketing vendors used for GTM and Project activities

    • Skill and Experience Essential :

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Hands-on style.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent eye for detail - can identify trends and patterns of information and can communicate findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Confidently present action plans & strategies to key stakeholders
  • UK driving license
