This full-time, long-term role focuses on supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students with challenging behaviours, helping them thrive both academically and socially.The school, rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED, is known for its inclusive ethos and outstanding facilities, including sensory rooms and quiet spaces tailored to SEN students. Located just minutes from Camden Town station, it offers excellent transport links and a welcoming, diverse community.Key Responsibilities :
- Provide 1 : 1 and group support for students with challenging behaviours.
- Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and learning.
- Collaborate with teachers and external professionals to deliver tailored plans.
- Manage behavioural incidents using de-escalation techniques.Requirements :
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, especially with behavioural needs.
- Strong behaviour management skills and a patient, proactive approach.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 / 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable.
