Band 6 Radiotherapist

Location :  Derby

Start Date :  ASAP

Working Hours :  Monday – Friday.

Pay Rate :  £25.00 – 26.00 per hour.

Hours : Monday – Friday 08 : 00 – 16 : 00 / 09 : 00 – 17 : 00 / 12 : 00 – 20 : 00

Duration : 6 months

Are you an experienced Radiotherapist with NHS experience, looking for a new opportunity? We have an exciting position available in the Royal Derby Hospital. As a Band 6 Radiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality radiotherapy treatments to patients within the NHS setting.

Responsibilities :

  • Administering radiotherapy treatments according to treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care.
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Providing emotional support to patients during their treatment journey.

Requirements :

  • Valid HCPC registration as a Radiotherapist.
  • Minimum of 1 year UK experience in a similar role, including NHS experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules.
  • Varian and Aria experience preferred.
