Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Keele

Location :  Newcastle Under Lyme and surrounding areas

Contract :  Permanent, Full-Time

Pay Rate :  £87 - £100 per day (depending on bookings)

About the Role :

As an HLTA, you will :

  • Provide 1 : 1 and group support, working closely with teachers to assist learning.
  • Help students develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Deliver structured interventions and contribute to lesson planning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a school setting.
  • A strong passion for supporting students with SEMH and additional needs.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate pupils in alternative learning environments.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different school settings across Staffordshire.
