This role's purpose is to report on the financial performance of the business and ensure the statutory reporting requirements are met whilst maintaining careful management of the assets, liabilities and transactions through strong balance sheet control.

The Role
Responsible for the integrity of the Balance Sheet ensuring the production of monthly reporting and analysis on all aspects of the balance sheet and all reconciliationsPreparation of insightful financial commentary for input to the monthly board papersSupporting the budget process in regard to balance sheet accounts and the P&L impactPreparation of the statutory accounts in accordance with IASDealing with the auditors at half year and year endBe a point of contact for any technical accounting issuesEmbedding internal controls within financial processesMonthly VAT and and annual corporation tax returnsAssist with treasury interest issuesDevelop relationships and partner with other business areas to work together to achieve KPIsThe Person
A qualified accountant - CA or ACCAApproachable and engaging!
