YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Leyland Facility is where the Chicago Town Pizzas started over 30 years ago. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our state-of-the-art production facility and play a key role in our a Facilities Team working alongside our teams who are proudly making the Dr. Oetker and Chicago Town branded pizzas. We need a pro-active individual with a desire to improve the Leyland site facility. A career at Dr Oetker will provide you with :

  • Opportunities to demonstrate your hands-on ability to ensure the safe and effective running of the Leyland buildings and facilities, through the maintenance of the facility, buildings, grounds, services and access control.
  • A proactive involvement in site prevention maintenance and inspections.
  • An environment in which you will work cross functionally with all internal teams (engineering, hygiene, production etc.) and contractors to identify and implement required site improvements.
  • Utilisation of the site Building Management System (BMS) to monitor functionality and performance of site services equipment – and using it to aid with identifying any problems that occur.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • At Dr Oetker we believe that our employees play a key role in our success. To help shape our future you will need basic engineering skills including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and joinery skills. Such experience would have been gained in the industrial sector, with an understanding of the food manufacturing environment.
  • A confident communicator with a personable and professional manner, you will have the ability to interact and relate to all levels of colleagues and to build strong trusted working relationships, whilst also having the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • The ability to work within a rapidly changing environment is key, as the ability to remain calm under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst demonstrating you are a creative problem solver with an analytical approach.

  • Annual salary £26,013 (paid weekly)
  • Contracted 37.5 hours per week (overtime payable at time half after 37.5 hours and double rate on Sundays)
  • 33 days annual leave (inc bank holidays) which increases with service
