Are you a Vocational Liaison Worker passionate about helping some of the most vulnerable people in society live more independently? Then join Wellesley Hospitalas a Vocation Liaison Worker, where you will be looking after men and women with mental health problems.
Under the supervision of the Lead Occupational Therapist, this role will support with enhancing service users recovery through facilitating real work opportunities both internally and externally.
You will be helping to create opportunities for service users within the community whilst simultaneously supporting the hospital to build positive relationships with external services.
This role is key in providing service users with the experience of realistic job roles to enable them to develop their independent living skills further and to develop skills for future employment following discharge from hospital.
You will also be lead on the ‘service user led café within the hospital.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be supported regionally and will have access to a variety of training and online courses to support your career development and growth.

You will be working at Wellesley Hospital, a purpose built 75 bed hospital in Wellington (Somerset) for men and women with mental health problems.
