Import Customs Coordinator

If you are currently working for an import forwarder and want more of a challenge or a clear career path for your future, this could be the perfect role for you, allowing your role to grow with the company.Our client, a well established freight forwarder with a great reputation are looking to recruit an experienced Import Customs Coordinator to join their team at their offices based in Ipswich.The Role : As an Import Customs Coordinator you will be responsible for preparing Customs entries, in the main for import shipments, ensuring that goods are classified to the correct tariff code & using the correct procedure code. You will also be involved in other aspects of the shipping process, dealing with overseas agent, shipping lines and transport companies. You will also be responsible for providing great customer service to a wide client base, from smaller importers to large well-known brands.Essential Criteria :

• Experienced in completing import entries
• Confident using the Tariff
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Sound knowledge of CNS and CDS systems
