Roofing Estimator / QS

Caledonian Construction are recruiting for : Estimator to join our team to work with the Commercial Director on New Build Roofing ProjectsRoles and Responsibilities :

• Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements
• Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required
• Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices
• Producing detailed Take Offs and Pricing Documents
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
• Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
• Estimating for projects ranging in value from £50k to £5mThe ideal applicant will have experience and the following attributes :
• Must have estimating experience in the construction industry, ideally roofing
• Ideally will have experience using Blue Beam estimating software
• Sound understanding of roofing and building legislation
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong numerical skills
• IT literate (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel)
• Confident and articulate individualSalary will be negotiable based on experienceRole will be office based in Gravesend, Kent.Working hours 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday.If this role is of interest to you and you want the start, please apply now
