Description
Direct Medics are working in partnership with the Ambulance Service to recruit a Support Worker to ensure that ambulances equipment and consumables are in a state of immediate readiness.
6 month contract 30 hours per week 24 / 7 work pattern.
Duties Include :
- Maintain environmental cleanliness within assigned areas
- Ensure NIAS vehicles are stocked clean and roadworthy
- Clean both the interior and exterior of vehicles to high standards
- Ensure onboard medical equipment is clean functional and in good repair
- Drive / move vehicles between stations for cleaning / decontamination
- Perform Vehicle Daily Inspections (VDI) and report defects
- Ensure clinical response bags are stocked to required levels
- Coordinate with Station Officer / Supervisor for service delivery
- Keep cleaning equipment clean functional and properly stored
- Dispose of waste / sharps per NIAS policy; replenish waste supplies as needed
- Identify and promote improvements and innovations
Requirements
