What You Will Do :

  • Manage key Assembly Sales & Projects, including writing, preparing, and negotiating technical and commercial proposals.
  • Seek out new business opportunities within the UK Automotive Industry while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Plan, organise, and manage teams to deliver projects to specification, on time, and within budget.
  • Develop technical and commercial robust concepts and solutions in response to RFQs.
  • Engage with engineering departments for technical assistance and produce detailed cost estimates.
  • Present and advocate proposals for business approval and engage with the customer during the bid evaluation process.

What You Will Bring :

  • A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc.).
  • Experience in business development within Industrial Automation machinery solutions.
  • The ability to concept automotive solutions for new or existing engine production lines.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills, coupled with a high level of interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

    Location :

    The role is based in East Grinstead, with frequent travel to customer sites and other company locations, including overnight stays.
