About the role :

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at High Peak School and be part of the Kedleston group.

As a member of staff at High Peak School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will work with SEND pupils who are joining the school to create and deliver bespoke transition plans to support them with joining High Peak School and reengaging with education.

You will support pupils with learning in their own home when necessary as part of their individual learning plan. This will include planning sessions and delivering in pupils' homes or in off-site locations and at times remotely into the home using technology.

You will work with teachers to promote positive behaviour, understand learning objectives, content and intended outcomes for the learning activities in which students are involved, and support monitoring student progress. You will be part of a key team around the young person to maintain consistent support, communication, and updated support plans.

About you :

For this role, we are looking for someone who has experience supporting pupils with their mental health, anxiety, and emotional based school non-attendance (EBSNA), ideally within an SEND setting. We seek a candidate with a passion for supporting young people to learn and develop, and who wants to make a difference in the lives and education of our children and young people.

    High Peak School, part of Kedleston Group Limited, is a specialist primary and secondary school providing provision for young people aged 7 to 18 years with Autism and associated social, emotional, behavioural, and communication needs.
