Anderson Knight is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Administrator to join one of our clients based in Ayr.As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes.Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate records of all supply chain transactions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Track inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment, working closely with the warehouse team to ensure stock accuracy.
- Process purchase orders, manage order confirmations, and track shipments from initiation to delivery.
- Assist with reporting and analysis on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain and update supplier and customer databases, ensuring up-to-date contact and delivery information.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely production schedules and effective communication across departments.
- Support the Supply Chain Manager with any administrative tasks and projects as required.Key Skills and Experience :
- Previous experience in a supply chain, logistics, or administrative role is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
