R&D Chemist

CK Group are recruiting for a R&D Chemist, to join a Chemical company at their site in Wigan, on a permanent basis. The hours required are Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm, with a rate of £12.60 per hour. In this role you would be developing new products on a lab scale.The Company : Our client is a world leading manufacturer of polymers and specialist synthetic resins.Location : This role is located at our client's site in Standish, near Wigan.R&D Chemist Role : Your main duties will include : Experimental R&D work according to a manual.Laboratory sample preparation.Testing and evaluation of raw materials and products.Equipment calibration.Report generation and ensuring all work is recorded.  Your Background : The ideal candidate for this role will have : Chemistry diploma or degree (HNC / BTEC, at least level 4 equivalent, or degree).Experience working in a busy laboratory.Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Apply : It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
