PAY RATE : £13.50 - £25.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Wednesbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

To be considered for this role you MUST have a minimum of 24 months of continuous driving experience.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a 7.5T Driver will involve but not be limited to : Delivering most building materials and home interior improvements products (not bathrooms and kitchens)Operate and drive various 7.5t vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locationsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsure all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhere to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicate effectively with dispatch and customersReport any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssist with loaded and unloading of cargo as neededEssential Skills

As a 7.5T Driver you must : Be able to work as part of a teamHave a minimum of 24 months continuous experience driving Category C1 vehiclesHave no more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codesBe able to use PDA (personal digital assistant)Hold a valid UK Category C1 Licence and have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi CardBe able to speak and read a good level of EnglishHave excellent punctuality and time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsHave effective communication skillsDesirable ExperienceExperience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficialPrevious experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficialTrainingSix-hour online training must be completed before attending assessmentDriver's Assessment will have to be completedAfter successful Assessment, there will be an on-job trainingApplyApply today by clicking below
