Job summary

A unique opportunity has arisen for a professional, resilient, credible, and inspiring nurse to undertake the role of a second senior nurse within the Borough of Monmouthshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an integrated team with Local Authority & Third sector partners.

The Senior Nurse role will provide strong clinical and professional leadership, whilst being a clearly visible and supportive role model. They will be professionally accountable for the delivery of high quality, safe and effective care and therefore the successful individual will take a lead in driving forward a positive culture of robust governance and quality improvement.

Main duties of the job

To succeed in this role, you will need to inspire and motivate a large workforce, build excellent relationships through good communication skills, and have a strong eye for detail and most importantly, for professional standards. You must be willing to embrace a broad range of new challenges and possess the knowledge and drive to create and deliver innovative opportunities for developing population health and patient care. As a key member of the senior nursing team within the Division you will work closely with a number of individuals such as the Borough Head of Service, Deputy Heads of Nursing and Integrated Service Managers.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and / or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
