About the role :
We have part time Rehabilitation Services Coordinators positions (between 21 hours and 30 hours per week) in a multi-disciplinary team within our Rehabilitation Services. Our centre at Great Western Court, in Gloucester, is designed to support individuals with all aspects of their rehabilitation and care programs following either a discharge from hospital or admittance from the community. We provide 24-hour care for planned, unplanned and emergency stays. In this highly rewarding role, you’ll create a positive, caring and stimulating environment that meets every resident’s needs.
The goal is to make sure residents enjoy fulfilling and dignified lives – and you will play a big part in that. Guided by care plans and risk assessments, you will help them with personal care and medication, leading shifts as the Officer in Charge and supervising Rehabilitation Services Support Workers. Our residents will be relying on you to give your best, so we’ll make sure you get expert support and training.
About you :
You will have an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards it, as well as hands-on experience of working in a care setting. With this background, you’ll be used to administering medication and helping individuals with personal care. Practical and positive, you’ll manage your own workload and work as part of a team. With every opportunity to learn, you’ll also be keen to develop and take our service from strength to strength.
You’ll join us on a shift basis, which will include every other weekend and sleep in duties as required. You will be eligible to claim for enhanced payments for working evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You should also be flexible to help out at other locations if required.
Our values are at the heart of everything we do and how we treat each other. They provide essential guiding principles about the way that we work and set the tone for our culture, and identify what we, as an organisation, care about.
If you hold the same behaviours and approach, then we want to hear from you! In exchange, we will provide you with full training and support to help you succeed in your role.
