Head of Supply Chain (FMCG / Food Manufacturing)

Location : Rogerstone, Newport

Salary : Excellent Remuneration + Benefits

About Us : 2 Sisters Food Group in Rogerstone are a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality meals. We are looking for a dynamic Head of Supply Chain to lead our Supply Chain & Planning team and drive strategic initiatives at our site in Newport.

The Role : As the Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for leading the entirety of the planning, scheduling, and distribution lifecycle at the site. This role is perfect for a seasoned supply chain professional with experience in food manufacturing, particularly with chilled products. You will oversee a team of over 100 supply chain professionals, manage the end-to-end supply chain process, and work closely with commercial teams, technologists, and distribution facilities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and develop the supply chain strategy, focusing on proactive measures.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, and distribution to ensure the factory has all necessary ingredients.
  • Manage the full end-to-end supply chain process, including KPI tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams, technologists, and distribution facilities.
  • Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, delegating and upskilling as needed.

What We're Looking For :

  • Extensive experience in supply chain management within food manufacturing, specifically with chilled goods.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and KPI metrics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume output.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Comfortable working with raw meats and other perishable goods.
