Job description

Job Title : Associate Landscape Planner (Renewable Energy)Salary : £50,000 to £75,000+ (dependent on experience)Location : Edinburgh, Scotland(Please note - for the right candidate, we can also consider offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London and Oxford)

Type : Permanent / Hybrid - 2 days per week min in office

About the Role :

Our client is looking for an Associate Landscape Planner to play an integral role in their landscape team. You'll be leading landscape planning elements of projects across all development stages, mentoring junior team members, and working closely with clients and stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a range of projects that shape sustainable environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and deliver landscape planning packages across all project stagesManage client relationships and stakeholder consultationsMentor junior team members and collaborate with the wider landscape teamEnsure high-quality and technically robust project deliveryContribute to business development, fee proposals, and tender submissionsUtilise digital tools for landscape design, assessment, and deliveryConduct site visits and provide technical photographyPrepare written and graphic materials, including landscape and visual evidence

What Our Client is Looking For :

Chartered Member of the Landscape InstituteExperience in landscape planning, particularly within the renewable energy sectorStrong relationship-building and leadership skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage workloads independently and lead teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS, and Adobe Creative SuiteA strong understanding of environmental, design, and engineering disciplines
