Field Service Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a family run engineering business based in Heywood. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week (8am-4.30pm) with regular overtime paid a favourable rates, and a basic salary of £32-36,000 per annum plus company vehicle and mobile. With call out and overtime rates potential to earn up to £50k per annum. The work is predominantly in the North West; Manchester, Liverpool areas mainly with occasional work nationally.As Field Service Engineer you will be working with a wide range of pump systems with the following responsibilities : Fault finding, servicing and repairingCompleting installations for newly commissioned equipmentServicing of cold water booster sets and pumping stations is typicalAttending large apartment blocks with water leaks, blocked foul drains etc.Make repairs to pumps and pipework, replacing faulty electrical components and controllersFamiliarity with at least two of the below systems is required : Cold water booster systemsSubmersible pumpsEnd suction pumpsSpecialist pumpsMotor / pump control systemsLevel control and other sensing equipmentVarious pipe work and valve systems – Especially Ductile Iron, Copper, and Polyethylene (HDPE & MDPE)Rain Water Harvesting SystemsBorehole pump systemsSeptic tanks & Water treatment systemsGrease traps & Interceptors We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills ...
