We are looking for a Water Audit Consultant to join our successful Site Services team. This is remote role with UK wide travel required.

Role and Responsibilities

The Water Department is looking to recruit a Water Consultant to join our growing team. The role supports the Water Audit service, a fundamental part of the Inspired Water service offering.

The role reports to the Head of Water Audit, but you will also liaise with other members of the team and clients directly.

The primary objectives of the role are to Identify opportunities for client savings and refunds from supplier charging errors and / or water wastage at client sites. This is achieved through desktop analysis of water charges and consumption and on-site surveys of client sites to validate and confirm claims.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to :

  • Data analysis and evaluation of supplier invoices for water, wastewater, surface water and highway drainage, trade effluent, abstraction licenses and environment agency discharge permits, to identify where commercially viable savings on charges or consumption are possible.
  • Conduct onsite surveys of any client sites identified where possible savings or refunds may be available.
  • Reporting of findings both internally and to clients.
  • Providing technical assistance and support to the wider business on water and related subjects.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential :

  • Excellent data analysis
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office – word, excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills regarding information gathering and delivery both verbal and written
  • UK driving licence
  • Desirable :

  • Knowledge / understanding of water supplier charging schemes
