Are you an experienced administrator with excellent customer service skills looking for a rewarding role?

We are looking for a Patient Services Coordinator to join our administration team at our Practice Plus Group Hospital, Rochdale. This role will be predominantly based in our clinical unit based in Tameside.
Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings.
From accepting referrals to booking patients into the right appointments at the right time and ensuring all patient data is accurate to reception duties and answering patient queries, this role is varied and you will need to be able to learn fast, but you will be rewarded by quickly becoming part of a great team, helping make our service ever more slick and efficient and to ensure our patient experience is the best it can be.
The service provided may be face to face or via the telephone, with the job holder being courteous and professional at all times. The role demands great attention to detail and the ability to resolve queries at the first opportunity.

What you'll be doing
As part of the NW Ophthalmology Patient Services Team, you will provide a high quality administrative service to patients, colleagues, and other 3rd parties across all steps of the patient journey. The service provided may be face to face, in writing, or via the telephone. You'll be courteous and professional at all times.
The role demands great attention to detail and the ability to resolve queries at the first opportunity. Striving for excellence and a willingness to continuously improve to deliver the highest standards required to support the delivery of North West Ophthalmology’s objectives.
Working collaboratively with the clinical teams to oversee rota allocation and timely creation of clinics to optimise delivery across the service will include but is not limited to :
