Location : Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Duration : Until the end of the school year

Hays Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Drama for a long-term supply role at a reputable secondary school in Huddersfield. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an enthusiastic educator looking to inspire and engage students in the world of drama.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver high-quality drama lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans that foster a love for drama and the performing arts.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events related to drama and the arts.

Requirements :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching drama at the secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for drama and the performing arts.
