Construction Estimator(Hybrid)

Our client is a highly reputable construction company based near Wantage. They have gone from strength to strength and are experiencing organic growth. Our client prides themselves on providing a range of construction services to their clients and has a brand reputation that is second to none. Due to securing new and exciting commercial projects, they are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and experienced Construction Estimator on a full-time permanent basis. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects including agricultural, commercial, and industrial up to £5m in value.

Hybrid working option available (3 office / 2 home).

Construction Estimator role :

• Manage tender processes from initial review to final submission for multimillion-pound commercial projects.
• Conduct take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities.
• Consult with the sub-contractor supply chain to ensure competitive pricing.
• Analyse and assess quotations for compliance and value.
• Present bids to Senior Management for review.
• Prioritise workload when working on multiple commercial projects.
• Ensure estimates are tracked and submitted accurately within set time constraints.
• Follow up on estimates for analysis, audit, and review.
• Provide excellent professional customer service to clients within the private and public sectors.
