About Us : Join our dynamic and supportive education team dedicated to fostering a love for mathematics in students across various schools in Leeds, Kirklees, Bradford, Wakefield and North Yorkshire. We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Maths Teachers to join our supply teaching pool. Our schools prioritise innovative teaching methods and a supportive learning environment, ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

Job Description : As a Supply Maths Teacher, you will :

  • Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students of varying abilities across different age groups.
  • Adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of individual schools and classrooms.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to support school initiatives and policies.
  • Be flexible and willing to travel to different schools within the region on short notice.

Requirements :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and a passion for teaching the subject.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced educational setting.
  • Previous experience teaching mathematics is desirable but not essential for newly qualified teachers.
