Clinical Fellow- Gynaecology

Qualifications

Essential

• Holds or have held a National Training Number in Gynaecology
• MB BS (or equivalent)
• MRCOG (or equivalent)
• GMC registration
• Evidence of a commitment to research

Desirable

• CRiSP Course (if not undertaken would be expected within 3 months of commencement)
• To show a broad range of publication and research activity
• Some experience with statistics

• Some Core skills in Gynaecology

Experience

Essential

• General Surgical experience with good practical skills
• At least 3 years' experience in Gynaecology
• Career evidence of a commitment to the specialty
• Evidence of self audit.
• Desire to participate in research at post graduate level

Desirable

• Experience at specialty registrar
• Surgical On call experience
• Ability to audit and critically appraise clinical care delivery by a multidisciplinary team

Teaching

Essential

• Interest in postgraduate and undergraduate teaching

Desirable

• Interest in teaching non medical staff

PERSONAL SKILLS

Essential

• Good organisational ability and a willingness to be flexible in accordance with the demands of team working across Gynaecological network
• Computer Literate Experience of working in a clinical team with good communication skills
