Are you passionate about making a difference in young people's lives? We are seeking a dedicated 1-1 Learning Mentor to join our team in Tiverton. If you have a strong background in working with children or young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, challenging behaviour, and trauma, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide 1-1 support to students, fostering their emotional well-being and personal development.
- Help students engage with learning, building their confidence and motivation.
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
- Implement strategies to help manage challenging behaviour.
- Monitor and track the progress of the student, adjusting interventions as necessary.
