Job description

Our law firm client is seeking an Associate to join their stellar team in their Glendale, CA office. Ideally they are seeking an Employee Benefits Delinquency Collection Attorney. Two writing samples and law school transcript required.

In office requirements : Must be in office at least 1 day per week. Must be able to do court appearances.

Salary Range : $100,000 - $145,000 (1-4 years of experience). 4% increase for every additional year of experience.

Job Description :

  • Litigate in federal court, specializing in employee benefits law.
  • Manage cases, collaborate with paralegals, and attend court hearings.

Responsibilities :

  • Handle federal court litigation focusing on employee benefits.
  • Conduct legal research, draft documents, and communicate with clients and courts.
  • Contribute to a collegial work environment and firm culture.
  • Qualifications :

  • California Bar admission required.
  • 1-3 years of litigation experience preferred.
  • Background in employee benefits or bankruptcy law strongly preferred.
  • Seeking background in delinquency collections.
  • Familiarity with ERISA and federal court procedures beneficial.
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Must provide two writing samples and law school transcript.
