Job description

What you can expect as a Vehicle Panel Beater :

  • Full Time / Permanent
  • 15 - £20 per hour (Dependent on experience & qualifications)
  • Monday – Friday - 45 hours a week
  • Flexible on start / finish times
  • NO Weekends
  • Bonuses and Benefits Available

The Role of a Vehicle Panel Beater :

  • Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork or preparing the surface for a paint sprayer.
  • Mending rusted parts of a vehicle’s bodywork.
  • Replacement of panels.
  • Panel Repairs (Straightening and filling)
  • Body Alignment
  • Welding ARC, MIG, TIG and bonding
  • Panel Beating (Major or Minor damage repair)
  • Jig Work
  • Filler Work
  • Pin pulling
  • Removing any dents in panels.
  • Repairing minor scratches or making replacement panels.

    • Qualifications

  • NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Panel Beating or be time served with over 4 years of experience.
  • Hold a current valid driving licence
  • Previous experience within an accident repair centre essential.
