Job Description

Job Title : Chef de Partie - Breakfast

Location : St Andrews, Fife

Contract : Permanent, Full-time

As a Chef de Partie at Fairmont, St. Andrews you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen working alongside a fantastic and welcoming team.

A little bit about what you will be doing :

  • Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
  • Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and / or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
  • Run a section smoothly and efficiently
  • Work on the pass during service hours
  • Provide clear instructions to junior team members
  • Provide training and guidance to commis and demi chefs
  • Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards.
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
  • Eligible to work in the UK
