As a Nurse your key duties include :
Monitoring standards of care delivered to our residentsEnsuring all Night staff on your shift contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the HomeEnsuring resident needs are being met by interacting with them, resolving any problems where appropriateReporting any ill-health amongst residents and making requests for GP / Professional visits when neededPreparing, updating and evaluating Resident Care PlansGeneral Nursing work and personal care as appropriateAdministering prescribed medication and maintaining the necessary records as per Company guidelinesSupporting the Registered Manager with auditing Care Plan documentation to ensure best practiceAttend relevant staff meetingsAdvising the Registered Manager of any incidents / accidentsEnsuring there is a clear and concise handover at every shiftComplete supervisions and appraisals to ensure best practice is adhered toAssist the Registered Manager with the responses to Provider audits in a timely mannerThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role :
Ability to manage a small teamLead by example and have a genuine passion for nursing care and working with the elderlyComfortable leading others to achieve high standards without compromiseExperience of working in a care home environment would be an advantage but not essential as we will provide the knowledge required if you have the relevant skillset and experience and share our core valuesThe successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £23.00 per hour and the annual salary is up to £52,624 per annum.
