As we expand our operations, we are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who will lead initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, capacity, and quality, driving us toward a zero-defect culture.
What you will do :
- Lead Improvement Projects : Lead improvement projects focused on enhancing manufacturing efficiency, capacity, and product quality using the Six Sigma DMAIC approach
- KPI Improvement : Focus on improving the Right First Time and OEE KPIs and work toward a zero-defect culture by defining and enhancing process capabilities
- Lean Manufacturing : Understanding the HSG 6 Pillars Lean Manufacturing system and work with the operations team to implement lean manufacturing techniques, identifying and eliminating waste throughout the production system
- Efficiency Optimisation : Analyse and plan workflow, space requirements, equipment layout, and logistics to enhance efficiency. Determine optimal process settings, create SOPs and technical standards and train those the operations teams with them
- Systems Integration : Devise efficient systems that integrate workers, machines, materials, information, and energy for optimal production
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Build and maintain strong relationships across production, engineering and technical (quality) teams, ensuring clear communication and feedback
- New Technologies : Help plan and implement new equipment and technologies to boost production efficiency
- Innovation : Continuously seek new and innovative ideas to drive operational improvements across the organisation
What we are looking for :
LEAN Expertise : Understanding of LEAN principles and other manufacturing theoriesProblem-Solving : Experience using Root Cause Analysis, DMAIC, or similar techniques to resolve issuesSelf-motivation : Proactive and self-driven, able to prioritise tasks and balance short-term challenges with long-term projectsProject Management : Project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage resources effectivelyTechnical Knowledge : Excellent understanding of engineering principles, coupled with a hands-on, practical approachCommunication : Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and train others on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practicesTeam Player : Ability to work independently or as part of a team, unsupervised when necessaryHealth & Safety : Knowledge of Health and Safety law and best practicesIf you could be our next Manufacturing Engineer, please apply today!#J-18808-Ljbffr
