At HFH Healthcare we meet the growing need for complex care by providing specialist nurse-led services to adults & children in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes, working in partnership with NHS Continuing Healthcare teams, our enhanced level of specialist clinical support, enables people to remain at home even when the level of healthcare required is highly complex.

We deliver care 24-hour a day, 365 days a year.

Job Description :

Our client has been with us since 2015 and has great experienced team with her, as her care needs have increased we are looking for 2 enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable live in carers to work 2 weeks on and 2 weeks in East London. This lovely lady enjoys the company of someone who is bubbly, motivating and encouraging of her independence. She has full capacity and loves to have a laugh and a joke with her carers so it is important to have a great sense of humour. Our client has full capacity but is paralysed form the neck down, she has limited movements in her arms and would like someone who is organised and can show own initiative.

2 weeks live-in shifts available.

This role includes the following responsibilities :

  • Cooking and helping client with feeding
  • Personal care
  • Encouraging client with stretching and assisting with splint
  • Catheter management
  • Bowel management
  • Pressure sore management
  • Helping the client live a full and happy life

6 months of previous care experience is preferable however full training, supervision and support is given to all successful candidates.

Our carer development centre comprises of interview and training rooms, and specialist and fully equipped skills labs for bespoke training to cover a wide range of client-specific needs, including :

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Invasive and non-invasive ventilation
  • Airway suctioning
  • Cough assist
  • Autonomic Dysreflexia
  • Oxygen therapy and monitoring
  • Bowel management
  • Enteral feeding
  • Epilepsy and seizure management
  • Catheter care
  • Complex medication administration

    • What HFH offers :

  • Daily pay rates up to £134.48
  • weekly pay up to £941.36
  • Where possible we will offer you work to meet your availability and as a guide, for a live-in carer wishing to work a 2-weeks on, 2-weeks off pattern (which equates to 26 weeks a year), earns up to £24,475.36
  • per annum.
  • We employ all staff directly and manage all aspects of your pay via PAYE, rather than Limited Company or Self-employed status. This removes the need for you employ third party companies or calculate your own tax. PAYE also protects you from breaching IR35 tax regulations.

  • You must be over 18 to apply
