Reporting to The Head of People & Culture
We’re looking for a Training Manager to join the people team to help develop and grow our Learning & Development philosophy, “Discover Your Best Self” across our four London hotels. This role could be 4 or 5 days a week depending on the candidate (30hrs to 40hrs a week)
It’s a great opportunity to get stuck in and ensure we develop and retain our talented teams and newbies.

What you’ll do…
Partner with our Director of People Development and Head of People & Culture to drive our Discover Your Best Self culturePartner with our People Development Manager to deliver and facilitate trainingsDeliver The Hoxton company induction to all our newbies with the People TeamDeliver The Hox Foundations trainingsDeliver Manager 101Partner with our hotel teams to implement and deliver site-specific trainingDrive the development and growth of our management teams through our management development programmesSupport the build and delivery of training sessionsLiaising with external Learning & Development facilitatorsManaging and Implementing our LMS for London when launchedAd hoc projects to support the wider London People team including new hotel openingsRegularly communicate with HOD’s to ensure the onboarding of newbies is delivered and that DYBS and mandatory trainings are booked and compliance is 100%Collaborate with the People Team to Drive ApprenticeshipsBeing present in all 4 properties to understand the training needs of our teamsWhat we're looking for...
Previous training experience not necessary, but someone who loves all things people development and seeing people grow to be their best self in their roleComfortable in a fast-paced hospitality environment would be fantasticNot afraid to stand up in front of a crowd and deliver face-to-face trainingGood understanding of Learning Management Systems (would be a bonus)Nothing escapes your eagle eye for detail even when you’re spinning multiple platesKeen to learn and pick up new thingsOrganised is your middle name and you make sure everything is in the right placeYou naturally want to help and support the people around you; others have most likely described you as a ‘People person’ and you’re great at building relationshipsYou’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits hereYou’re not precious.
