At GMT, we are aiming to expand our international teams and to welcome new VIEs.

By joining the Design department, you will be responsible for undertaking the following roles and activities :

  • Provide process engineering design support on a range of projects being undertaken by GMT around the world.
  • Assist process engineers to define and continuously improve engineering design information for use in new plant installations and in the support of existing plant operations.
  • Participate in Early Equipment Management process, conducting reviews of previous installations and projects, ensuring that any lesson learnt is applied to new projects and any design changes are loss driven.
  • Support the development of tender packages for ordering new process plant equipment.
  • Participate in commissioning of new plant equipment installations and provide support of training of site operational staff.

  • Master’s degree in mechanical / design Engineering, or any related field.
  • Good Understanding of principles for mechanical design of equipment.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD / Autodesk Inventor and ability to work on design using 2D and 3D software.
  • Knowledge of Word / Excel.
  • Creative and taking initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

    Join our international Process team at Area 2 comprise of 8 engineers and 4 people in the Drawing Office

    We also have 3 other VIEs on site, working in other teams.
