Job Description
The Role :
- Complete accurate and timely month end financial processes
- Analysis and commentary on financial data and performance
- Prepare and post monthly accounting journals and regular accruals into SAP
- Cost and balance sheet reconciliations
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial reporting and compliance
- Assist with the year-end audit process
- Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
- Improve or remove inefficient processes
- Work with external and internal audit teams
- Ad hoc project work within the finance department
The Successful Applicant
The Ideal Candidate :
- Part-qualified and working towards a professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA )
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- High-level understanding of MS Excel and finance software
- Demonstrable knowledge of accounting legislation and regulations
