Role : Network ArchitectContract Length : 31.03.25 (with a view to extend)Day Rate : £600 - £620 (via umbrella)Location : Southampton or Leicester (3-4 days on site)SC Clearance : Active SCAbout the role : Network Architect for on-premises critical national infrastructure solution leading a mix of network new build, tech refresh and live service activitiesWorking with networking infrastructure including Cisco switches, firewalls, routers, ISE, F5 load-balancers, Juniper SRX, and SolarWinds monitoringKnowledge of a wide range of networking concepts and technologies including : IPSec - site to siteLayer 2 e.g. STP, VPC, VLAN, OTVLayer 3 e.g. IP, VRF, OSPF, QoS, IDS, HSRP, GREF5 LTM, Big DNS (GTM)CCNP level understanding.Documenting solutions into HLDs and LLDs as well as overseeing the overall network configuration managementProviding Networking leadership within the organisation and for the client when requiredEvaluating Networking technology choices to address client requirementsIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply with your CV and I will be in touch ASAP.Lawrence Harvey is acting as an Employment Business in regards to this position.
