Management Accountant

Management Accountant – Lincoln - £45,000-£55,000 We are happy to be supporting a fast growing, owner managed business in Lincoln, who are recruiting an exciting new Management Accountant role due to business growth. This is a newly created role, reporting to the Group Financial Controller. You will play a key role in managing financial processes and providing insights to support decision-making, ensuring that the business continues to thrive and expand. Your responsibilities will include : Prepare management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow statementsEnsure accurate accruals, prepayments, and reconciliation of general ledger accountsPreparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasting, providing accurate financial projections and variance analysisAnalyse and manage costs across the business, identifying areas for cost-saving and operational efficiency improvementsProvide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve profitabilityMonitor and report on inventory levels, ensuring accurate valuation of stock and efficient use of resourcesSupport and maintain strong internal financial controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policiesAssist in VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulationsSupport ongoing improvements and updates to financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracyWhat you will need to be the successful Management Accountant : CIMA / ACCA Qualified, or later stages Part QualifiedExperience of working in a Manufacturing / Distribution business at a similar level with a track record in reporting and analysisGood experience of IT systems including good MS Excel skillsSelf-starter with good communication skills and a can-do attitudeContinuous improvement and growth mind setIn return your package will include : Flexible workingDay off for your birthdayCareer development opportunitySupportive, family orientated environmentIf you are interested in finding out about this exciting Management Accountant opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.
