Teacher of Mathematics – Secondary School & Sixth Form (Southend-On-Sea)

Location : Southend-On-Sea

Contract Type : Full-time, Permanent

Start Date : September 2025 (or sooner if available)

Salary : MPS / UPS (depending on experience)

Our client, a well-established secondary school and sixth form based in Southend-On-Sea, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join their successful department. The school is committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning and offers a welcoming and collaborative environment for both staff and students.

The Role :

Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students

Supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes in GCSE and A-Level examinations

Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have :

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

A strong academic background in Mathematics

A commitment to high standards of achievement and behaviour

Excellent classroom management skills

A passion for making Mathematics accessible, enjoyable, and inspiring
