Electrical Fitter

My client is a leading designer and manufacturer of refuelling solutions and systems for a range of industries including Marine, Aviation and Defence. They are now looking to hire a number of Electrical Fitters to join their established team in Stroud. The ideal candidate will come from an Assembly and Production, will be familiar and proficient with creating looms and wiring harnesses and will have experience in the aviation or defence sector.

Electrical Fitter Job Overview

Completing Engineering duties for sub-assembly production, fitting and final assemblyAssembling Electronic sub-assembliesAssisting with the build of wiring harnesses and loomsUsing a variety of hand and power tools in assembly and quality assuranceElectrical assembly, wiring, terminating connections and monitoring / inspecting own work.

Electrical Fitter Job Requirements

Previous experience in an Electrical Fitting / Assembly positionAble to work from Engineering drawings / schematicsCircuitry knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and ElectricsDefence or Aviation background would be beneficialKnowledge of electrical assembly and the ability to read electrical schematic drawingsBased within a commutable distance of Stroud
