The successful candidate will assist in providing high quality childcare whilst maintaining a safe and secure environment. Key ResponsibilitiesHave a genuine passion for the Early Years sectorTo ensure the children are welcomed into a warm and happy environment, creating a stimulating and pleasant working atmosphere in order to encourage and develop children in our carePlanning, preparation and assessment of the Foundation stage curriculum and Early Years Foundation StageTo foresee the needs of SEN children and give physical, emotional, intellectual guidance as appropriate requirements set out in the EYPSTo maintain confidentiality and professionalism regarding each child and his / her family. Reporting concerns regarding child welfare and safeguarding to the Designated Safeguarding LeadEnsuring the safety of children at all timesTo settle in new children and provide on-going support, under a key worker system, liaising with parents and maintaining good communicationsTo maintain children’s records and carry out assessmentsRequirementsFull andRelevant childcare qualification at Level 3 or above, in accordance with OfstedExperience of working in a childcare environment for a minimum of 2 years.GCSE English & Maths Grade C or aboveExperience of working with nursery children under 2 years old for a minimum of 2 yearsBenefitsYou can look forward to a very competitive salary with additional benefits such as in-house training with excellent career progression opportunities.
