Job descriptionEngineering degree, project engineering experience (manufacturing preferred) SolidWorks proficiency, knowledge of manufacturing processes and regulations, ability to interpret technical drawings. Proven project management ability, meeting deadlines and budgets, strong organisational skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to build rapport and negotiate. Strong analytical and critical thinking, ability to develop solutions and improve processes. Understanding of project costing, contracts, and profitability.
We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to work for our client based in St Ives. This position is a permanent role, working Monday Friday, 40 hours a week.
Main Duties :
- Develop solutions with sales and customers, creating value propositions and managing expectations.
- Create and present optimised SolidWorks models to customers for approval, incorporating feedback.
- Collaborate with design engineers to produce manufacturing-ready drawings that meet all requirements.
- Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders, maintaining clear project documentation.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements.
