Role Overview :

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stage 2. You will play a crucial role in fostering a love for learning, encouraging curiosity, and helping students develop essential skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities :

Create engaging and interactive lessons that captivate students' interest and enthusiasm for learning. For example, incorporate hands-on activities, group projects, and technology to make lessons come alive.
Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. This might include using multimedia resources, storytelling, and real-world examples to make complex concepts accessible and engaging.
Plan and implement a comprehensive and dynamic KS2 curriculum that meets educational standards and addresses the diverse needs of students. Design lessons that challenge students to think critically and creatively.
Regularly assess student progress through creative assessments such as quizzes, projects, and presentations. Provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
Encourage students to ask questions, explore new ideas, and develop problem-solving skills. For example, use open-ended questions and collaborative activities to promote deeper understanding.
Participate in and lead extracurricular activities that enhance students' learning experiences. This could include clubs, field trips, and school events that align with the curriculum and spark students' interests.

Requirements :

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching KS2 students.

Proven experience in creating engaging and effective lesson plans.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

Competence in using technology to enhance learning and administrative tasks.
