About The Role
As a Night Senior Care Assistant at Lime Trees, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our care. Everyone who works here understands that our residents are people with their own stories, just like them. Joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to those individuals.
For you, this means planning and delivering care that provides our residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, helping to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care and influencing your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at the end of life, or communicating with families, your approach will be rooted in kindness. You will also facilitate social and recreational activities, and administer medication.
One of your key responsibilities is to keep accurate records and build strong team relationships.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
