CNC Machinist

One of the leading manufacturers of construction equipment worldwide, JCB, is looking for skilled CNC Machinists to join their site in the Staffordshire area.

The basic rate is £16.09 per hour, and o vertime is paid at time and a half.

Shift allowances are paid in addition to hourly rate, where applicable.

Operation / Setting of CNC Machines, and working to tight tolerances. All machine work will be completed according to written JCB Standard Operating Procedures.

You will be familiar with the following :

• Understanding how to load / unload components into fixtures correctly.
• Working to standard operating procedures.
• Having awareness of implications if not loaded correctly into fixtures.
• Ability and understanding of the use and maintenance of gauges and measuring equipment required to be used.
• Hard / electronic micrometers, spirit levels,
• DTIs and surface finish gauges.
• Correct use of hand tools that are required to be used and the maintenance of hand tools
