Belcan, a Cognizant company, are an Engineering Services company and due to winning new projects and clients, we are looking for Software Engineers from the Aerospace industry.

What will you do?

As a Software Engineer, you will be involved in technical proposals, studies, and reviewing technical developments (e.g., processes and tools) from partners. You will work within a team of Software Engineers to develop processes, including the evaluation of Software Engineering Tools, and will be involved with the development of DO-178C compliant Software Engineering Processes and Standards, including the specification of tools (e.g., meta-models, profiles, and code generation). Additionally, you will work within a team to develop tools compliant with DO-330 (requirements, design, coding, verification, and documentation).

Who are we looking for?

• Ideally, you are degree qualified in a STEM subject or possess equivalent relevant experience, preferably in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• You will have the ability to work collaboratively within a large-scale programme and be experienced with the software development lifecycle and processes.
• Experience in Software Development of applications (code, debugging, and testing).
• Proficiency in software languages (e.g., C, C++, Java) and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Familiarity with Software Development Tools (e.g., Requirements, IDEs, Test, and Configuration Management).
