Traffic Supervisor

We are currently looking for an experienced Traffic Supervisor to join our Client’s busy Traffic Team, covering 10 : 00 – 19 : 00 or 11 : 00 - 20 : 00 shift.The role will primarily involve managing drivers and vehicles and organizing all aspects of theTraffic operation.In what can be a very high-pressured environment, efficient use of vehicles and drivers, a cost-saving mentality and continuous improvement of customer service are all key parts of the role.The successful candidate will have :

• A high level of organization and attention to detail
• The ability to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting
• Good customer care skills
• The determination and willingness to resolve all issues in order to meet customer and business requirements
• A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Previous experience within the transport industry
• Knowledge of Microsoft OfficeDesirable skills / experience :
• Supervisory experience
• General haulage experience
• Pallet network experienceThe package offered may be negotiable dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.Other benefits available upon satisfactory completion of probation :
