Job description

Stress Engineer

Location : Broughton

Pay : Up to £52p / h (Inside IR35)

Contract Duration : 12-month contract

Responsibilities :

  • Static structural analysis of composite and metallic materials.
  • Analyze and validate metallic, composites / hybrids structures at the component level for static strength, F&DT, and produce relevant strength margins or reserve factors according to validated and applicable Airbus methods & sizing processes.
  • Provide stress analyses for the repair / acceptance of metallic, composites / hybrids structures.
  • Ensure airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.

Experience Required :

  • Stress Approver status required - must hold a signatory / approval status.
  • Aviation background is necessary.
  • Hold a relevant qualification.
