Job Title : Junior IT Engineer (Hardware)

Location : Uttoxeter, United Kingdom (On-Site 5 days a week)

Day Rate : £140 (Inside IR35)

Job Type : Long Term Contract

I am looking for a motivated Junior IT Build Engineer to join one of my biggest clients. You will assist with building and configuring IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, and Servers. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience with hardware assembly and troubleshooting while learning from experienced engineers.

Job Responsibilities / Objectives

Assemble and configure desktop PCs, laptops, and Servers.
Install operating systems and software on hardware systems.
Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and testing.
Assist with managing inventory and parts.
Follow established build processes and quality standards.
Provide support for hardware-related queries from internal teams.

Required Skills / Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following :

Due to the on-site requirement You must have a UK driving licence and own a Car / Motorcycle.

Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Little experience in IT support or relevant internship

Strong willingness to learn and develop hardware skills.
