Driver and Trade Counter

Extra recruitment are currently recruiting for a Driver and Trade Counter for my client based in Peterborough.The Driver and Trade Counter will be approachable and friendly, someone who will meet the needs of our customers and provide service with a smile. In this position, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building supplies and therefore, previous trade counter sales experience in a busy merchant environment is desirable for this role.Responsibilities and Duties of a Driver and Trade Counter : Dealing with customers face to face and over the telephoneDelivering orders to customersGiving excellent customer service and sound product adviceDelivering stock to customersProviding quotations for customersPurchasing materials and managing stock levels for the categoryTaking a proactive approach to sales, using every opportunity to make or increase saleDetails of a Driver and Trade Counter : Salary : £27,000 plus overtimeHours : Monday to Friday, 2 Saturdays per month (over time)Duration : PermanentQualification and Skills required for a Driver and Trade Counter : Sales experience within a merchant environment is preferable although training will be given to the right candidateBuilding supplies product knowledge is advantageousConfident with dealing with customersThe ability to build great customer relationships a good telephone manner, excellent communication, and interpersonal skillComputer literateFull clean driving licenseBenefits of a Driver and Trade Counter : 20 days holiday plus 8 days bank holidayPensionParkingFor more information please apply
